Purpose of role

The merger between Tenon and RSM Bentley Jennison has resulted in a large growth in our financial services division, operating nationally, but with key opportunities in Leeds.
We are now looking to strengthen the team in this area, and as such a great opportunity has arisen to expand team.
 
 
Role Title:
Assistant Systems Analyst (FM)
 
 
 
Role Context:
The role is suitable for someone with limited experience as an Administrator in the Financial Services Industry, or an individual with relevant IT experience.
 
 
Purpose:
To provide administrative support to the Financial Management Systems Analyst (and on occasions National Support.) within required time scales as defined by the firm.
 
 
Location:
Based at our Leeds office but with a requirement to travel to any office of RSM Tenon / RSM Tenon Financial Management Limited from time to time to meet the needs of the business.
 
 
Line Manager:
The jobholder reports to the FM Systems Analyst on a day to day basis.
 
 
Supervisor:
FM Systems Analyst
 
 
Responsible For:
The jobholder is not responsible for other staff, however they may be asked to provide training or assistance to other less experienced team members.
 
 
Role Summary:
The main aspect of the role is to help promote, maintain and develop the 1st Software Adviser Office systems throughout RSM Tenon Financial Management Ltd (and any companies attaching).  The role requires the individual to help the FM Systems Analyst, administration teams, and Financial Advisers. The jobholder will develop professional relationships with colleagues, software and product providers.  There may be a requirement to update and maintain additional financial management systems as and when purchased / acquired.

1. Cleansing of data within Adviser Office
2. Addition of managers, schemes and funds within the system
3. Updating of title files within the system
4. Work with FM Systems Analyst to progress ongoing project work
5. Help create and develop reports using Adviser Office to be distributed to the RSM Tenon Financial Management Team
6. Liaising with IT support (internal) and 1st Software
7. Provide support for the National team as and where required
8. Liaising with Financial Advisers, Adviser Support and working with them closely to understand how we can use 1st to benefit others
9. To cover for colleagues during holidays, sickness and busy periods and in particular, to undertake daily tasks and duties in the absence of members of National Support
10. Liaise with Line Manager to ensure above duties are carried out

3. Experience of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outloo
4. Good Administration skills
5. Experience of working within a team

7. Applicant should have a working knowledge of Financial Services    terminology and products.
8. Must be well organised and self motivated
9. Logical thinker.
10. Must be able to prioritise work to ensure jobs are carried out as quickly and efficiently as possible.
11. Must have a willingness to learn and assist in developing the processes.
12. Must have good communication skills internally with colleagues and superiors and externally with clients, insurance companies etc.
13. Will need to keep abreast of changes within the firms processes in line with industry changes, this includes a willingness to accept ongoing training and development including maintaining competence.
